Hello again blogging world! I have taken quite the break!
I have Jared on the brain due to our upcoming 7 year anniversary in November. I'm sure this blog will be lengthy, but full of wonderful memories!!!
Jared and I have been dating for almost 7 years! I cannot believe that our 7th anniversary is quickly approaching. November 27, 2012 will be the date. I can't help but keep my mind on this subject so I'm going to take a walk down memory lane on this blog.
We met when I was 12 and Jared was 13, he and my brother were (and still are) the best of friends. I was NOT very boy crazy at all whenever we met for the first time, so it was more like the gaining of a new friend rather than someone that I could potentially spend my life with...who would have known 9 years down the road that we'd be dating for 7 of those precious years?
We didn't see each other much during that time span, only when he would be with Dwayne (my brother) and they would stop by my house to grab something or I would run into him at an occasional Fullington Academy event (both Jared & his brother were attending there at this time).
At 13 I started to see Jared in a new light... but I would NEVER admit it. He would call me quite often, but I wouldn't pick up...or if I did I tried to act like I didn't care.. I mean after all we were just friends... and I was sure he didn't feel the same way. As that year progressed Jared called me more & more, and I started like him more and more...however I continued to play hard to get...
One night I realized that Jared had left his CD case in Dwayne's truck, so to be slick I slid him a little letter in there basically to just tell him how much I enjoyed his friendship. I never knew whether he got it or not..nothing was ever said, and as I have learned over the course of these 7 years my boyfriend does not get subtle hints...or any hints at that.
Come time for fall football to start. Fullington vs Crisp Academy.. I couldn't help but to be excited because I knew Jared would be there.. so my friends and I got dressed to impress and went to the game. Sure enough Jared was there..but to my dismay he had 2 girls with him the whole night...talk about putting a damper on my night. What I failed to mention earlier is that we had talked before the game & he wanted me to make sure I spoke to him...well having seeing 2 other girls with him I figured I was the LAST thing on his mind.... so I ignored him. Which I believe this drove him crazy because he called me later asking me why I didn't speak. I told him the obvious reasons.
Fast forward another year I was entering into the 9th grade and he was entering into the 10th. Jared and I started communicating a lot more, I would notice him at my softball games against Fullington & he made sure he would call to see how things were going. Come November, Brandi and I were in Illinois for Thanksgiving with my family, and he was working on a truck with his "boys". We had been texting the whole time we were up there and I couldn't deny to Brandi how much I liked him, best friends just know those kinds of things. Brandi decided to take matters into her own hands & somehow in the wee early morning of November 27, 2005 Jared & I were "official".
I am so thankful for the years I have spent with this amazing person! We have been through almost everything I think imaginable. From immature jealousy & fights to real life situations such as divorce and cancer. Jared is my right-hand-man and I don't know if I would be the same person today without him.
Now as I am looking back on all these memories I can't help but to smile and giggle. As I face the last 2 semesters of school and realize I will be graduating from GSW in the spring I can't help but to be excited for the future :) We have had a blast over the course of these 7 years & I'm looking forward to many more!!!

Random!
Helloooo Friends!! It's been a while! I think it's officially safe to say that I am NOT the best blogger! I had a hunch to blog a little bit while I was having a little bit of "me" time. Let's see.. I have a feeling this may be a bit of a random post.. so please forgive my scatter brain!!
Jared and I are going to the movies tonight! I am so excited, I absolutely LOVE the movies, everything about them well... maybe not everything...I don't actually care to much for popcorn. Anywho it seems like getting me and Jared time is impossible here lately!! So us to venturing out to the movies on our own is a big deal:) The whole idea spurred from our group of friends discussing the thought...well Jared and I never heard any for sure plans... so we decided to just go ahead and go to have a small date night! We're going to go see That's My Boy. I hope it's as funny as it looks!
Have you ever just been so busy that you don't understand how time flies or what has happened to the month that you were just in? i have been that way a lot in the past two months. I absolutely cannot believe that it is already the end of June and that July is rapidly approaching (which I am by no means complaining...end of summer classes is approaching!!) As I said earlier it seems as if Jared and I just haven't been able to spend a lot of alone time together lately. He's a fireman, so he's off every 2 days buuuttt... with clinicals, school, & work I have barely any free time.... soooo I guess it kinda boils down to being my fault :/ Only 1 month left though and summer semester will be over which will allow us to do more!
I have been in OB clinicals the past 2 weeks... I'm not going to lie, I thought this was going to be the worst section of nursing school ever...not saying it's the best but I actually haven't despised OB as much as I originally thought I did. I thinking seeing an actual birth changed my whole thinking process with this area. The birth was pretty amazing.. I'm not sure if it was because it was so in the moment or what. It moves so fast that you don't have time to realize the kinda gross stuff that comes along with it that those pictures you see in health class so beautifully elaborate .... yuck!! I had a blast watching that birth though...definitely the coolest thing I have seen yet!!
There have been some pretty serious life lessons learned in the past couple of weeks. I am not going to go into detail but is it not crazy how sometimes it takes something horrific to make something so easy to understand FINALLY hit home? I guess sometimes you really need that realization that life IS so precious and that you should never take a day nor the people around you for granted.
That's it today...this is definitely a terribly random post... but I guess I'm a scatter brain and always will be!!
Until next time!!!

Memory Lane ~ New York, New York!
Hey friends!! I did not realize I had let ANOTHER month pass and not blogged, so I decided to get to it tonight! I've been taking a walk down memory lane lately, wishing I was back in New York experiencing all the things the Big Apple has to offer! I figured I'd share some of my memories with you guys :)
The Hershey's Store! That was the biggest hershey bar I have probably ever seen. New York had lots of places to get extremely oversized candies from.
My brother wanted me to swap his Albany Fire Dept tshirt with one of the firefighters in NY. Who would have EVER thought a fire department would be so hard to find. I honestly think we looked at least once a day until we finally found one.
Ground Zero was one of the places I was determined to go to. The magnitude of everything that happened on Sept 11, 2001 seemed to really unload on me the day we visited. I guess you truly don't understand the amount of lives lost until you see the names go on and on and on. The city is so busy but it seems like as soon as you step foot into Ground Zero the loudness of the city fades out. I'm not sure what exactly it is, but it's a cool, but eery feeling. Literally construction was going on where that crane was the day we were visiting, but I don't remember hearing anything but the peaceful waterfall.
Playing on the big piano was so much fun. I felt like such a little kid! Definitely one of my favorite things we did!
Jared and John-John dropped us off at the Groom's place in Macon. We left for Atlanta from there! Such an exciting day!
Whenever we finally got to Atlanta we were running on time, everything was going good... no lines with security, no nothing! However, Ms. Jill had a slight problem at security because her name is Julianna whereas her boarding pass said Jill. Sarah-Averill just about had a panic attack, but she finally got through security and we were on our way again! Little did we know this was just the beginning of our many set-backs! We boarded the plane, and sat, and sat....and sat... the plane finally started to roll in reverse and then we pulled back up to the gates, only to find our engine was leaking. NOT GOOD. So we had to board a different plane and were finally on our way... just 3 hours late!
We got into New York probably close to 2:30am but we were all so excited we had to go on a mini walk about. This is the closest Jenn and I got to the Statue of Liberty.

Our list of things to do and see was pretty long. China Town, Soho, Times Square, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Central Park, An extravagant Candy Store, Macy's, Ground Zero, meeting a real NY Fireman, and on and on and on. We got to do a lot on the list, however, that city is to big to accomplish everything in like 3 days!
This is Jenn and I on our first day. We ate at a small Italian restaurant that was AWESOME. Italian became a theme during the visit, we ate Italian I believe, 3 more times..plus pizza!
We got to see the Rockefeller Tree the night before they completely took it apart. It was so beautiful. There were people ice skating below and there had to of been millions of christmas lights on that tree. It was awesome to have actually seen it in person and not just on TV!
First Time being in Times Square... I was mesmerized by all the lights. There was so much to look at and to see that it couldn't all be taken in in one visit, we definitely made sure to go back during the night and day!
The Hershey's Store! That was the biggest hershey bar I have probably ever seen. New York had lots of places to get extremely oversized candies from.
Walls and walls and walls of M&M's. One of my favorite candies! I was in absolute heaven :) This store was so neat!
Times Square again
Random Mcdonald's sign I know, however I found it interesting that there was a Mickey D's on EVERY corner in New York. There's even one where the employees where tuxedos. I guess NY can get fat anytime anywhere!
I saw this truck in Time's Square. I just thought it was an awesome way to remember those who lost their lives saving others.

I was so excited to visit this store, but it really wasn't what I thought it'd be!
This statue was in front of the Twin Towers and survived the collapse of the towers. It's damaged but is on display somewhere close to where the Statue of Liberty's ferry is at. Pretty Neat.
Playing on the big piano was so much fun. I felt like such a little kid! Definitely one of my favorite things we did!
So excited :)
This hotel was beautiful, had doors that were so tall that the knobs were like at my forehead. No joke.
Man oh man how I wish we could go back like tomorrow! It was definitely a trip I will never forget!
That's enough for tonight... thanks for walking down memory lane with me :)
Until Next Time! God Bless!

Catching up!
Hey Folks!!! It has been exactly 1 month since I have even made a new post! I admit I pretty much suck at this blogging weekly/daily/hourly however you're supposed to do it thing... So I'll get to it when I can I reckon!! Anywho... I do admit that I have written a few drafts, but then found a reason to delete them, so I didn't completely forget about this deal!!
I'm going to catch you up on the past month of my life...wow... 1 mth...doesn't seem like it's passed by this quick!!!
Okay where to start???
My parents and friends threw me a birthday party the weekend before spring break, I was so excited about the shindig!! It had a great turnout... the band was awesome...and the food and cake were good!! Speaking of cake, my cake was B-E-A-U-Tiful!!! Here's a picture of it:
so anyways....
I'm FINALLY 21!!! I'm pretty lucky, my birthday landed on spring break so we got to celebrate it right!!! By we I mean; Jared, Chase, Chip, Justin, Lauren, and I. We stayed in Tootsies the whole night of my 21st... we met a TOTAL creeper... or 2... but one in particular was wearing a Garth Brooks t-shirt and a stetson hat... definitely made the night interesting!!
My beach trip was pretty relaxing...other than the fact that I had to study like every day because I had 3 exams the week we got back! But hey, studying on the beach beats studying on the deck!!
Jared bought a jeep a couple of days ago... at first I wasn't really on the bandwagon because he has a camaro to play in and a really nice truck! However, the jeep is a stick shift so I have been learning how to drive it lately and it is a lot of fun...my driving a stick has definitely brought quite a few giggles to me and Jared!
The ATI exam was today....I have never felt so discouraged in my life!! But....that's Enough said about that..
Well... that's all I have y'all, I am more than sure a lot of other things have happened... however I am really tired! So until next time!!

EEP!!! Is it not precious?? I loved it! All the pretty colors and patterns, and it tasted AWESOME!! Heather Bartlett made it... her cakes are always awesome!! My Aunt Tammy made me some of her FAMOUS oreo bites ( I could eat those things till I am sick!)

Busy, busy bee
So the last couple of days it seems as if evertime I turn around I have something to do. My calendar is stacked with events and tests and BIRTHDAYs my gracious at the birthdays in March! I have had a kajillion tests lately and am down to the last 2 before spring break coming up this week.
So today I woke up around 9 went to Americus and studied with some of the girls from class til 12:30 then I rushed home, took a shower and got ready for a baby shower. The baby shower was held for my old baby sitter! It was the cutest thing ever! I love the little owls and birds that are out for decoration and they were all over the place there today!
So now I'm getting ready to go to Jared's wild game supper that he's sponsoring, helping with, whatever you'd like to call it. It's actually a pretty cool gig. It's being held at a church and all the proceeds will go to families in need. He is such a sweet guy and loves to lend a helping hend whenever he can. So this fundraiser is right up his ally!
I think we may be going to the mud bog tonight at Elko, we'll see how this turns out. It's usually a lot of fun, however it's been raining ALL day and it's getting colder by the minute! I guess I'll bundle up and put my big girl panties on, it'll be fun to watch a bunch of rednecks get stuck in the mud anyways. There's extremely charming people out there, mullets and all.
So there's a million birthdays this month, mine being one of them. Our friend Justin's is today, and Jared's is Monday. That's not even half of them though, just the ones on my mind at the moment. I am so excited about my birthday! (1) I'll be 21. (2) I'll be at the beach on Spring Break (3) I'll be surrounded by a lot of good friends (4) I'll be out of ole dumpy Cordele for a while! I need there's quite a bit I would like to get off my mind for a while!
My parents are throwing me this birthday bash on the Saturday before we leave so I'm pretty pumped about that as well! I think that's all I have for today...
Sorry I haven't really put any pictures up... I'm a picture freak...so I'm sure come Jared's birthday or maybe after tonight I'll have some to share!!

Shoes, shoes, shoes!!!
So lately I've been nutso about finding me a pair of wedges that are brown.. not such an easy task. I think part of me really wanted a pair, but the other part knew I didn't need to buy anything. Well today during MedSurg...while I should have been paying attention....I went shopping on my cell phone. I, like any girl, like to have brand names... some of my favs are Jessica Simpson, Antonio Milani, BCBG, and so forth... HOWEVER... I usually hit up the sales racks. I pride myself on usually being able to find a good deal :)
Well today during class I went to the Charlotte's Russe website because they usually have pretty cute shoes. I found a pair that I loved and could not resist!! I even got a special promotion code because of it being Leap year.. how awesome is that!? It took 29% off..which I don't really understand what it would of hurt to give you the full 30%. I guess it's to be cute to go along with the theme of Leap year..being it's the 29th and all. Here's a picture of them...
How cute are they?? I love the little zig-zags on the wedge part! I'm in love! I'm sure Kimbo-slice (my mom) is not going to appreciate the new pair...Happy birthday to me though right?? Well that's all I have for today!

First Post...that may speak for itself!
Hey there! Thanks for taking the time to check out my blog to see what it's/I'm all about! I figured since this was my first post I would give a rundown of who I am and what my expectations of the blog are!
My name is Tiffany Arnett, I am 20 years old and I attend Georgia Southwestern State University, I am currently in my Junior year studying Nursing. This is currently my first "official" semester of nursing school, so I'm sure you will get to experience the ups and downs with me as they come! Jared is my boyfriend of 6 years, he is by far one of the sweetest people I know, and I am so lucky to call him mine! :) Jared is a firefighter and is also a taxidermist, so he's always busy with something. He's such a cutie! Here he is in the picture below!
I myself, am currently unemployed... so that means I'm a typical BROKE college student! Which is no good when you have shoe fetish as bad as mine :s. Lately I've been stuck on finding wedges! Yikes... so hopefully (wink.wink) I'll continue to have no luck!
I am kind of a girly girl but I definitely do not mind getting dirty and hanging out with the boys, so this blog won't always be about clothes or shoes etc. I love music! I jam out whenever studying, sitting around on campus or just ya know in the car. I get some pretty wild ideas every now and again and I'll tell you about those as they come...I'm a big thinker...which sometimes goes NOwhere!
I basically wanted to start writing this blog to see what they're all about, a lot of people around me have started to, so I figured I'd be a copycat and try it out myself! I really have no expectations of the blog other than to have important happenings in my life written down!!
Once again, thanks for taking the time to read this!!
~God Bless!~
